簡介
印度佛教密教與造像研究學者，曾任巴羅達東方研究所所長及Gaekwad's Oriental Series總編輯。其《印度佛教圖像學》及《成就法鬘》等校訂本是梵文圖像研究的重要文獻。

神祇造像的辨識以《成就法鬘》觀想文為依據，缺乏可攝造像時使用尼泊爾佛教畫師的傳承圖稿。
