About the Hall

Deyuan Guanyin Hall is an offering of the Dharma. We have gathered the scriptures related to Guanyin, scholarly studies through the ages, images of Guanyin held in museums around the world, and pilgrimage temples in many places, so that everyone may draw near to Guanyin's compassion and wisdom at any time. The Thousand Eyes are the knowledge for understanding Guanyin; the Thousand Hands are compassion reaching into the world.

Original「德原觀音堂」是一份法供養。我們整理了觀音相關的經典、歷代學者的研究文獻、世界各地博物館珍藏的觀音圖像，以及各地的寺院巡禮，讓大家隨時都能親近觀音的慈悲與智慧。千眼是認識觀音的知識，千手是伸向人間的慈悲。

This hall holds the lay practitioner Deyuan in grateful remembrance, takes the Dharma name "Deyuan" as its name, and dedicates this offering of the Dharma. "Deyuan" is also the source of merit, from the Avataṃsaka Sūtra, chapter "Bhadraśrī": 「信為道元功德母」

Original本堂感念德原居士，以居士的法名「德原」為堂名，並以這份法供養迴向。「德原」也是功德的本源，典出《華嚴經》〈賢首品〉「信為道元功德母」。
